Summer Staff 2017

5/22/2017

Comments

We have hired some amazing summer staffers to assist in Camp Galilee’s day-to-day operations! Staffers wear many hats. They disciple campers, provide programming support, assist in camp maintenance, aid in kitchen duties and much more. Really, our staff are the hands and feet of our ministry. Ultimately, our summer staff are challenged to model Christ-like hospitality to all of the guests who enter our gates.

So, without further adieu, let us introduce you to the 2017 Galilee Staff! Drum roll please…

What should my child pack for camp?

4/13/2017

Comments

This is one of the top questions asked by our parents and for good reason! They want their child to enjoy camp to its fullest by equipping them properly for a week (or half week) away from home. Below is our current list of items to bring and not bring to camp.

Bring
  • Seven changes of camp appropriate clothing
  • Old clothes for mud pit
  • 2-3 pairs of jeans (only for horse campers that prefer to ride with pants)
  • Swim suit (must be a one piece or completely cover your child's belly)
  • Extra socks and underwear
  • One beach towel
  • One or two bath towels
  • Bedding for an extra long twin mattress
  • One or two pairs of close toe shoes
  • Flip flops for shower times
  • Soap and toiletries (we recommend a caddy or holder to keep toiletries together)
  • Tooth brush and tooth paste
  • Bible
  • Flashlight
  • Sunscreen
  • Bug spray
  • Sunglasses or hat

Do Not Bring
  • Alcohol, drug, or tobacco products
  • Food
  • Cell phones or other electronic devices (including cameras)
