Second chances are rare, but even more rare for a place like Camp Galilee. Personally, we never imagined ourselves as camp owners. To be frank, we know very little about the camping world. However, after many prayers and discussions we decided to try to come together to purchase the Camp in late 2015.
We are just two local families with a mutual love for the outdoors. We saw Galilee as a huge asset to the community of El Dorado Springs and didn't want to see the land divided up from its original purpose. But most importantly, we felt a divine tug on our hearts. We felt like God wasn't done with Camp Galilee and that many more lives could be transformed by the Gospel at Camp. So really, you might call us crazy but we truly believe in this place. Honestly, it is by the grace of God that we are writing this letter now, on the cusp of re-opening a camp for the summer that shut its doors just two years ago. But here we are. This is where you come in. Camp Galilee cannot survive without you. We purchased this camp for you. Please take some time to think about how you can help this camp become even more than it was before. Together we can make Camp Galilee the greatest it has ever been.
